Movie: Farscape – S01 E03 Exodus From Genesis

This series is so bad it is costing me brain cells just to watch it. If I go on a tantrum later, I may write an entire essay on how bad it is. As far as space shows I’ve watched, the characters in Farscape do not have anywhere near the rapport or charm as the crew from Firefly. The Star Trek Original Series has episodes with far more intelligent plots. The Space 1999 series from the 70s also has a lot of credibility blunders in it, but at least they stick with one major issue for an entire episode instead of muddling up the story every ten minutes.

None of the characters could reasonably be expected to get along. The LASA wimp would have been killed in the first episode, then the Peacekeeper and Squidworth would have killed each other right after. That would have left the subdued personality of the blue chick and one of the worst muppets I’ve ever seen as the main characters. By then, Pilot could have cut off the oxygen to the rest of the ship so he could put himself / itself in charge. Crappy Episode 2 featured an electronic bug, while Crappy Episode 3 featured organic bugs. Wow, that’s what I call creativity! I’m not watching this 6th grade TV show any more!

Synopsis from Amazon: Moya gets infested with bugs who have come on board to breed. They turn up the temperature to speed up the process but this causes Aeryn to get heat delirium as she is cold blooded. The bugs seem to be able to replicate members of the crew. And as if that isn’t enough, a peacekeeper ship shows up.
